In this step, you will enter the Assets (shares, managed fund units, property, etc.) your Fund owned as at your Migration Date.
Select the INVESTMENTS button on the FUND SETUP Menu.
Mclowd™ displays the Assets you have entered so far (your Bank Accounts)

Mclowd™ displays the Assets: Add Opening Balance as at <dd June, <yyyy> screen.
The first step is to select the Member Account that owns this asset. Usually it will be the Fund, but if the Fund holds Segregated Assets, it is vitally important to correctly identify the correct owner Account.

Next, you will select the Asset Type.
At this point in time, Mclowd™ supports the types shown in this list. If the Fund has assets of a type that is not listed, please contact Mclowd™ to discuss a workaround or request an additional type be accommodated.

Assets need to be classified as Domestic or Foreign, by selecting from the Asset Category field drop-down.

From this point on, the process varies according to the Asset Type selected.
